Import inventory
Use your shared ThingzSafe inventory from a browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Prepare the file
- Open Import inventory and select a supported file. The V1 importer handles CSV and supported spreadsheet input; use the types offered by the file picker.
- Use one row per record and clear column headers. Keep a copy of the original file before mapping it.
Map, preview and import
- Map columns to the fields offered by the importer and choose the destination location. Check quantities, dates and unit values in the preview.
- Correct validation errors before confirming. After importing, inspect a few records and compare the expected counts.
- This is not a guarantee of direct migration from every competing inventory app. Images and files need their own supported attachment workflow.
